Green petroleum coke, abbreviated as GPC, is the raw uncalcined carbon material directly produced from oil refinery delayed coking units. The term “green” means it has not undergone high-temperature calcination, retaining natural volatile matter and moisture. It serves as the base raw material to produce calcined petroleum coke, and can also be used as an industrial carbon source, recarburizer and high-calorific fuel.
